Maybe that is the reason he spent $28,000 on the popular Beats By Dre headphones made by rapper and producer Dr. Dre.
The headphones, costing $400 a pair are a luxury and the most sought after music device on the market known for cancelling out all surrounding noise while in use.
But, the big question is, will the receiver formally known as Chad Johnson have an impact on Super Bowl XLVI?
The obvious answer is no. Ochocinco's season high in catches is two, which he has done in five instances. He failed to have any kind of impact on the Patriots two playoff games this postseason. For the season he has just 15 total catches for 276 yards and a lone touchdown.
However, before you go and write Ochocinco off there is one reason he may effect this season's Pro Bowl. That is the left ankle of Rob Gronkowski.
According to a report from Profootballtalk.com Gronk may not practice the entire week leading up to the Super Bowl. The belief is he will play, but the ankle will require arthroscopic surgery at season's end.
That leaves room for Ochocinco to step up this week in practice and maybe become part of the game plan. Why not? He has not done anything all season and could be a good dark horse coming into the game.
This may seem like a fallacy but when he comes up with two drive saving catches remember who told you first.
With a good body of work like CO's, it would be nice to win a Super Bowl and at least have some kind of contribution instead of just catching a ride.

HE hasnt done anything for the Pats alll year the least he can do is buy the whole team Head Phones
ReplyDeleteLmfao word up you right!
ReplyDeleteIf Brady looks Ocho's way he is a factor don't expect him to though he will be staring at the sky or evading sacks. He is the Patriots best deep threat since Randy Moss Deon Branch has to push off to create separation(Broncos Playoff game). Also he is one guy the Giants don't have answer for.The Giant's can handle that over the middle slant TE stuff.
ReplyDeleteI believe he can be an ex-factor with Gronk still being limited in practice, things aren't looking to good for him and the Pats may need someone else to step up, or they could come up short!
